  • The retreat takes place at our gite ‘La Maison du Passeur’ on the banks of the river Vienne in the beautiful village of Availles Limouzine.

    The village is perfectly located at the border of the departments of Vienne, Charente and Haute-Vienne and about one hour from the historic cities of Poitiers, Limoges and Angouleme.

  • For anyone who loves to crochet or who wants to learn, regardless of skill level or experience.

    Beginners are welcome and we will help you get going with your first project.

    If you want to bring a friend who doesn’t want to crochet, they can spend their time walking, exploring or just relaxing in the garden. They are welcome to join in all the other meals and excursions.

  • One full day, two half days and optional extra time dedicated to crochet in La Maison du Passeur.

    Unlimited tea, coffee, soft drinks, water and snacks at La Maison.

    Three lunches and two evening meals with wine and soft drinks, including a dinner at a local restaurant.

    Two afternoon excursions in the local area.

    A complimentary goody bag.

    Transfers to and from Limoges airport for Monday afternoon arrivals and Friday departures.

    Accommodation. We have two rooms with a shared bathroom at La Maison available to book. Please also have a look at ‘Where to Stay’ for a range of affordable places to stay in the village.

  • Yarn, patterns and hooks for any project that you want to work on during the retreat.

    Additional equipment such as scissors and tapestry needles will be available to use during your stay.

    Beginners may contact us for advice on a good first project if you wish.
